Services are provided by counselors with over forty years of combined recovery.
Joy Copeland has lived in Alaska for over thirty years, is a mother and a grandmother. She is certified with the State of Alaska as a Chemical Dependence Counselor I and has an AA in Human Service Technology. Joy has worked in the Human Services Field for over twenty years, as Executive Director at Fairbanks Crisis Line in Suicide Prevention and with Fairbanks Native Association's Behavioral Health Residential Programs as Clinical Coordinator/Dual Diagnosis Counselor. Joy has knowledge and experience in substance abuse. trauma, domestic violence and women's recovery issues.
Jimmy Spears has lived in Alaska for over twenty years, is a father, husband and grandfather. Jimmy is certified with the state of Alaska as a Chemical Dependence Counselor I and a Behavioral Health Tech. Jimmy has worked in the Human Services Field for approximately three years, at FNA's Behavioral Health Residential Programs as a Lead/Dual Diagnosis Counselor. Jimmy has knowledge and experience with substance abuse, relationships in recovery and inner child healing. |
